Project Based Learning

Skills like team working, problem solving, using high tech tools, strong communication skills, planning, critical thinking, reasoning and creativity are the ones we are developing in our students as they work in projects in the classroom. PBL, Project Based Learning, promotes a type of learning related to real life more than the simple teaching model of learning facts and reciting them out of context.

After discussing historical and cultural superstitions and how they are perceived in our society, eight graders have created original superstitions that consist of an action and a consequence. Then, they created the digital version of their Superstitions Cards, using the tech tools they already know and finally shared their work with the class.
